Irish-American Club

Fraternity within and service to the lake community

The Irish-American Club hosts the city’s annual St. Patrick’s Day parade and party each March on Snake Saturday. They begin the planning process in December and routinely meet to discuss details up until this 1-day event.   The primary purpose of the St. Patrick’s Day party is to raise money for the Weatherby Lake Police Department through a silent auction and other donations.   The WLPD uses the money to purchase needed supplies and equipment that is not in their current budget.  The event is held at the Community Center and all residents are invited and encouraged to attend.

Although this event is sponsored by the Irish-American Club, you don’t need to “join” to participate or attend.   You also do not need to be Irish or American.   The club strives to create an all-inclusive environment for anyone who wishes to participate.    They are always looking for new neighbors willing to assist with the planning and execution of this special community event.  If you are interested in helping, or want more information, see the contact below.
