The Weatherby Lake Yacht Club conducts the Junior Sailing program which provides sailing instruction to kids.
This program is a long-standing service to the community and started soon after the inception of the Sailing Club. Sabots and Optimist boats are used for weekly summer classes and about 50 Weatherby Lake children enjoy the training and fun provided by the professional staff each year. Our future sailors test their increasing abilities during the annual summer term.
Junior Sailing Instruction is open to all community children in the summer term and boats are available for individual lessons during the season.
