On the third Saturday of each month from September through May, except December, volunteer Weatherby Lake residents rotate hosting a casual gathering in their homes. About 6 to 10 residents are randomly assigned to each host home, but neither the host nor the guest knows who they will be gathering with. Guests bring a pre-assigned food item and the hosts provide only the main entree and beverages. The focus is not on the meal, but rather on meeting and getting better acquainted with our neighbors, and promoting improved understanding among the residents of Weatherby Lake.

Know They Neighbor supports all other Weatherby Lake programs and organizations and encourages goodwill among neighbors. This is an excellent informal way to meet new and longtime residents (couples and singles).
